I was contacted by the assistant chief flight instructor of the Prescott-based branch of the Helicopter Institute. They were looking to decorate their new office at Embry-Riddle Prescott's Flightline! I came in person and took some imagery of the helicopters to be able to work off of, and set to work.
The final piece is 32"x22" and will hang in the new office. It features an R22 and R44 flying in tandem over Sedona, Arizona. The art style was inspired by Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 splash art. I tried my best to mimic this style, with some more angular stylization.
The piece was also prepared to go onto the Flight Department's Canvas page of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott.
